Acura’s TLX was extended a major refresh for 2018 which saw the yield of this new A-Spec bundle.
But, only buyers opting for the V-6-powered TLX could indicate the A-Spec alternative. That changes for 2019 since the inline-4-powered TLX can now be ordered as a A-Spec as well.
Before getting too excited, note that the A-Spec bundle is about appearances rather than performance updates. Those seeking increased performance might have to look elsewhere or wait for the recurrence of Acura’s Type S package, which can be anticipated to add twin-turbocharged V-6 power.
That does not mean the A-Spec package is not take a peek at. You obtain a more aggressive front seat, 19-inch alloy wheels, black accents, a diffuser insert and large exhaust tips. There is also a few interior tweaks such as better bolstered front seats plus a thick-rimmed steering wheel.
